Encore un groupe de l'Europe de l'Est qui sait jouer. Encore un groupe sur Moonlee Records. Un groupe de Slovénie. Mais cette fois pour marquer la différence des styles présent sur ce label on navigue dans une sphère plus metal.

ENTREAT existe depuis 1997, et a clairement évolué vers le metal. Ce n'est plus ce que j'avais entendu à leur début...et puis le son est vachement meilleur. L'album ici présent a été enregistré en Italie. On vogue dans un son clairement metal, même si le groupe est porté sur la scène hardcore, leur musique sonne fortement metal. Il reste néanmoins un arrière goût hardcore qui se ressent dans certaines structures. Leur musique est fortement influencée par les groupes metal mélodique suédois. Y'a ce coté bien metal aux riffs bien chargés, avec tous ces riffs plutot mélodiques. J'accroche assez bien. Niveau hardcore évidemment on pensera à DARKEST HOUR, niveau metal je dirais IN FLAMES. Ouais? A vous de juger...C'est bien construit. On ressent parfois un coté mélancolique dans la musique. Y'a un coté fort à la PURUSAM pour ceux qui se souviennent de ce groupe. Juste la voix qui diffère. Leurs deux précédentes productions ("s/t" 7inch et "Shaded" CD) étaient sorties sur Choose Life Records, label essentiellement metal hardcore.

Les textes eux sont assez personnels. Mais pas exessivement bien mis en avant dans le art-work du disque je trouve...enfin plutôt dire que j'accroche pas au art-work.

Yeah, eine Band aus Slovenien. Kommt nicht häufig vor, das man so was in den Stapel zu Besprechender CDs findet. Und irgendwie war ich sofort an BRIDGE TO SOLACE erinnert, die ja bekanntlich aus dem Nachbarland Ungarn kommen. Und wie BRIDGE TO SOLACE mich damals umgehauen haben. Doch bevor es an DEINCUBATION geht, erst mal ein paar Informationen zur Band. ENTREAT gibt es seit 1997 und haben in diesen 8 Jahren Band-Geschichte bereits eine 7“ und deren Debütalbum SHADED veröffentlicht. Sind quasi schon fast alte Hasen, selbst wenn sie hierzulande kaum einer kennt.

Doch nun zum Zweitlingswerk DEINCUBATION. Da zeigen sich ENTREAT wohl von ihrer besten seite so far. Denn die Songs sind mal gut und fett produziert und rocken. Doch was für Musik machen sie überhaupt? Nunja sie selbst nennen es Emo-Metal, doch Emo ist eigentlich deplaziert. Denn Melodie = Emo? Ich glaube nicht! Denn obwohl die Gitarren teilweise hochmelodisch sind und es die ein oder andere Gesangseinlage des Sängers gibt, würde ich es nicht Emo-Metal nennen. Der obligatorische Begriff melodic Death Metal tuts auch oder Metalcore mit Göteburg-Touch. Selbstverständlich gibt es heutzutage hunderte Bands die sich dieser Musik verschrieben haben, doch ENTREAT gehören bestimmt zu den Besseren, den neben kleineren musikalischen Spielereien rocken die Songs, wie bereits gesagt, teilweise schon wirklich gut. So zum Beispiel der Anfang von "The Wrath of who we wish to be", der an hervorragenden Metal erinnert. Doch leider wirken die häufiger eingebauten gesprochenen Stellen des Sängern häufiger deplaziert, ebenso wie die ein oder andere Lead-Melodie einer der Gitarren. Das sind aber auch die einzigen Mankos! Denn ansonsten haben wir hier ein schönes Stück Metalcore.

Heavy metal from Slovenia. Clean and crisp with a sound often reminiscent of bands like Entombed or Carcass (think Clandestine/Heartwork respectively) but with a distinctly modern edge that puts them firmly in the Century Media camp alongside Shadows Fall and all their gurning ilk. Despite having a cache of killer riffs, metronome-tight drumming and a singer who’s capable of a pretty mean growl there’s something not quite hitting the mark here - a tidiness of sound detracts from the overall ferociousness of their delivery and, more damning by far, there’s a tendency toward those horribly gloopy sung vocals a la whoever’s currently selling their worthless metalcore soul for a slice of the Ozzfest pie; trading metal licks against overblown vocals that don’t so much add texture as remind me what utter cockshite Type O Negative were. Fair play to ‘em – maybe they’ll do well for themselves, but pardon me for liking my metal to shit nails and wipe barbed wire all the way rather than bail out and suck its thumb when the chorus hits.

ENTREAT stammen aus Slowenien und beweisen, dass auch in Osteuropa, ordentlich und modern gerockt wird. Die junge Band will jetzt mit ihrem Zweitwerk "Deincubation" durchstarten. Dort gibt es jede Menge melodischen Death- und Thrash-Metal mit einer ordentlichen Hardcore-Schlagseite zu entdecken.

Aufgrund des sehr melodischen Gitarrenspiels bezeichnet die Band ihren Stil selbst als "Emo-Metal". Ihr Sound klingt zwar recht eigenständig, dafür ein neues Genre zu eröffnen, ist jedoch übertrieben. Viel eher liegen die Wurzeln ENTREATs, wie bei vielen Metalcore-Bands, in Schweden.

Zwischen den schmissigen Melodien der Gitarren tauchen ab und zu mal Breaks auf, die zu heftig geprügelten Passagen oder ruhigen Zwischenspielen überleiten. Streckenweise geht der Core-Anteil fast völlig verloren und ein regelrechtes Dark-Metal-Feeling macht sich breit. Bei "Miss Norbet" kommt sogar eine Violine zum Einsatz, was sehr gut zur Herkunft der Band passt und eine melancholische Note verleiht.

"Non Plus Ultra", das schon erwähnte "Miss Norbet" und das abschließende Instrumental „In Need Of An End“ sind auf jeden Fall musikalische Lichtpunkte und zeigen, dass die Band abwechslungsreich zu Werke geht. Manchmal wirkt die Schreistimme des Vokalisten Patrik im harmonischen Gitarrensound jedoch etwas deplaziert; ab und zu scheint ihm gar die Puste auszugehen. Er versucht sich auch an melodischem Gesang, was teilweise wie eine zwanghafte Annäherung an moderne Metal-Gefilde wirkt und völlig in die Hose geht.

Letztendlich überwiegt auf "Deincubation" aber das Positive; die kompositorischen Fähigkeiten der Band und besonders das technische Können der Gitarristen wissen zu überzeugen. Wer bei Melodic-Death und Melodic-Death-Metalcore mitbangt, könnte an ENTREATs musikalischem Schaffen Gefallen finden.

Quarta uscita ufficiale della nuova label slovena Moonlee Records, partita alla grande con tre ottime produzioni (Analena, Lunar e Don’t Mess With Texas - recensioni nell’ apposita sezione -) di stampo più o meno simile (Analena a parte), Mr. Moonlee torna con la sua nuovissima scommessa: gli Entreat, gruppo metalcore sloveno, e il loro “Deincubation”. Formatisi nel lontano 1997, presentano solo ora il loro secondo full-length ufficiale. Registrato in Italia all’ Alpha/Omega Studio di Como e prodotto da Alex Azzali, “Deincubation” presenta un sound, come già accennato, inseribile nel gran calderone del Metalcore, con buoni tratti di originalità e spunti interessanti, discrete parti melodiche e stacchi mosh di ottima fattura con richiami più o meno nu-metal, batteria serrata per tutti gli 11 pezzi e voce di stampo hardcore. In sostanza il disco si potrebbe riassumere più o meno in questo. Non che gli Entreat siano uno di quei gruppi da ascoltare, e lasciare nel dimenticatoio, no di certo, ma con questo “Deincubation”, atteso per tanti anni, non fanno altro che inserirsi tra quella miriade di gruppi che or ora non trovano nuovi spunti e grandi invenzioni, ma che comunque vale la pena ascoltare e continuare a supportare. Perché gli Entreat non hanno nulla in meno di grandi band più affermate, assolutamente niente, tanto meno una grande etichetta alle spalle, la Moonlee Records, sempre più decisa e pronta a supportare la scena locale. In definitiva questa è l’ ennesima ottima mossa del Signor Moonlee, per chi volesse avvicinarsi a questa rigogliosa scena slovena, il consiglio è uno solo: www.moonleerecords.com ce n’ è proprio per tutti i gusti!

Here's some super metallic metalcore from Slovenia that has a style somewhere in between the 90's European sound and the more melodic contemporary sound that draws more specifically from the Swedish side of things. So it's not particularly original, but it's not necessarily unoriginal either, and I have to say that their songwriting is a shitload better than most such bands. The playing is pretty tight, the hoarse vocal screams are a little more sinister than most, and the riffs are generally high quality. There are a lot of atypical chord phrasings employed that add some fucked up dissonant twists, a lot of the picking patterns are chunkier and more energetic than most of this style that I come across these days, the solos are strong, etc. They also stay away from tremolo picking, burly mosh parts, and all that kind of stuff. There are definitely some chugging rhythms at times, and on occasion the dual guitar harmonies are pretty directly borrowed from the likes of early Dark Tranquillity or In Flames, but that's fine by me. In all honesty if this band was from America they would probably be fucking huge, so it's a damn shame that music from more obscure lands often fails to get the attention that it deserves. Really the only thing that I don't like is when the vocals shift into more of a spoken singing sort of style, as it just seems overdramatic and annoying (most notably in tracks like "Few Seconds in Clearness"). Everything else is very well done and I actually think this band stands head and shoulders above most of their contemporaries. Just check out the energetic feel to songs like "Imperfect 10", or the way that tracks like "Ride (Desperado)" and "Incubate Scare" make use of creatively melodic thrashiness. Instrumental "In Need of an End" even uses some programmed percussion effects and keyboards alongside lush clean guitars and slow melodic solos, while the core riffing is really winding and discordant – very much to my liking. The sound quality is damn nice as well. The mix is pretty efficient and you can hear all of the instruments, the vocals don't overpower, etc. I think the drums could use a little more of a warmth to their density (they sound a little fake in certain respects), and maybe the bass could be a little more defined, but the guitar tone is fucking excellent: Perfectly crisp and crunchy so that it's heavy but lets the riffs retain detail. Nice work. The layout's so-so, though. It's consistent and the text is clean, and there's nothing really so bad about it, it's just kind of boring and the imagery is uninteresting to me. The lyrics deal with personal issues such as turmoil and despair and confusion and all that, with some of the lines getting sort of cheesy and referencing typical imagery, while others are a little more creative. It's nothing worth writing home about though, so I'd really like to see them push for more engaging material on those fronts in the future, as to better match the power of their instrumentation. Musically there are only a few very minor setbacks in place right now, and I'd encourage any fan of this style to look into these guys, because honestly I'm 100% sick and tired of this entire genre, but I can't overlook the talents that Entreat has in place. I'm pretty damn close to giving this a 7/10, and maybe I should, but I'm holding back in the hopes that they'll really floor me next time. Were they a little less typical this time out I'd go ahead and overlook their current shortcomings. This is one to keep an eye on, though.

ENTREAT's “Deincubation" is another release on MOONLEE RECORDS from Slovenia and this time they present us Slovenian Metalcore. The group exists since 1997. After their 7" single and their debut album "Shaded", both released by Choose Life Records, they are now back with their new LP "Deincubation". The CD was recorded in Italy and it sounds very good. Metal combined with hardcore and some emo influences, but not too much. Only a few clean vocals. Maybe you think now, "That's all we need, another Metalcore band." But ENTREAT are different. They got their own unique style. It`s hard to find a group, that plays Metalcore in such a melodic version. The group itself describes their music as emo-metal, but i think that's not the right account. Better is Swedish melodic Metalcore. That's all and that's the best description. If you like a mixture of HEROD and TRIVIUM, you will have a lot of fun with this CD. These guys are really good

Superb, furious, hell-born thunder are just some of the superlatives that come to mind when taking in the new Entreat album, although this is only the first time I've been listening to them. If you possess a warped melodic death metal, then this is a must. The first track "Ride (Desperado)" just get straight to the point of where they are heading for. It takes some moment before getting used to the voice, but once you get sucked, it gets more depraved by the chord, and just fuckin listen out for the electrifying solos from the guitarist. Obviously, Entreat have come on leaps and bounds in their playing abilities, once you move on to the next tracks, and piledriving through ten more fairly run-of-the-mill bonecrushers, while added some slower groove in "Few Seconds In Clearness" and "Words" which enabled the listeners to headbang without fear of that important part of them falling off, seriously. Still, they have given down the proverbial storm in "Imperfect ID" and then we have to deal with such hell-born thunder in "The Wraith Of Who We Wish To Be". I was stunned with this whole album, wallowing myself in the morbid pessimism, over some of the most rib-shattering double-paddled and guitar-solos to be belched from the deep earth's core, realizing they'd ended it all with the groove-emotional instrumental-infected "In Need Of An End"... and that's been a great way to end this malevolent mighty thumping "Deincubation" CD. Very well-done, indeed.

Hey, not bad. Entreat serve us some quality hardcore here. With firm roots in the new school genre and around long enogh to pick up some more influences from bands like Shai Hulud or other more complicated metallic hardcore, Entreats full lenth is pretty good. No geius record, but certainly offering you more than your basic hardcore band. Complicated melodic riffs and an ever present metallic sound make that convince more than their earlier stuff, which was also softer and mellow. Now the band sometimes even has a bit of a Swedish metal influence once in a while. Certainly “words” has a melodic metal thing going on with the evil grunting voice and all. I kinda dug that. I guess you will like this record if you like a cross between the more complicated US stuff like Shai Hulud and the Euro metal sound.

Kdor si je ogledal film Zadnji udarec, se bo zagotovo spomnil scene, kjer sonce posije na komet in postopoma povzroči kemijske reakcije uničujoče intenzitete. Svetloba življenja je izredno hitra, centimeter po centimeter se giblje in grozi tistim nesrečnikom, da jih bo scvrla v pozabo. Prvi komad novogoriških melodičnih death metalcev z naslovom Ride mi vzbuja podoben občutek, ki se z nekako nihajočo intenzivnostjo kontinuirano širi skozi vseh petinštirideset minut. Grafični prikaz moči posameznih pesmi bi bil izredno zanimiv – totalen šus so predvsem pesmi Ride, Imperfect ID in Incubate Scare, medtem ko se iz ospredja bobnarske agresije fokus usmeri predvsem v kitarske vragolije in vokalne interpretacije pri komadih na primer Few Seconds In Clearness, Non Plus Ultra, The Wraith Of Who We Wish To Be. Popolna melanholija je prisotna v pesmi Miss Norbet (spominja na Numbing The Pain od Heaven Shall Burn). Krajše povedano – marsikaj za vsakogar. Kitarski duet Mišo in Mikla se giblje tako med novodobnimi mosharijami kot med melodiko At The Gates, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity in celo Iron Maiden. Harmonije in solaže so izredno natančno in brezhibno izpeljane, nore so predvsem kombinacije v komadu Compressed Time And Space. Akustični deli v posameznih pesmih so samo še češnja na odlični torti. V ozadju se prilagaja ritem sekcija pod palčkami Samota in Petrovimi basovskimi eksplozijami in verjemite, da ta dva vesta, kako držati ritem. Bobnanje je vseskozi zanimivo, popestreno predvsem z mid-tempo napadi, udarnimi činelami in kombinacijami dvojnih bass pedalov. Dodatno okrepitev predstavlja še čelo, ki je prisotno le v določenih pesmih (Few Second In Clearness na primer) in je zanimivo dopolnilo Patrikovim vokalom, ki najbolj spominjajo na Dark Tranquillity, Darkest Hour in Catharsis, medtem ko so čisti vokali bolj v stilu Moonspell. V mračni maniri se album zaključi z intstrumentalom In Need Of An End. Napredek od prvenca Shaded je več kot očiten. Plošča je mnogo bolje posneta (snemano v Alfa/Omega Studios v Italiji), sam videz je znova neverjeten (tokrat je to krivda Valterja iz Shadedbeauty Media – Curse Of Instinct, From The Dying Sky, Dickless Tracy itd.), stil pa se je tudi premaknil v bolj energično glasbo (energično na drug način, seveda). Total devastation! Temu dodajte še neverjetne nastope v živo (fantje so med drugim izpeljali že lepo število evropskih turnej ter ogromno nastopov na domači grudi) in primerjava z reakcijo plinov na kometu, ki pod sončevo svetlobo grozijo s popolnim uničenjem, je več kot primerna... Kot bi zapisal Patrik, "I want to get that feeling when it's almost like drinking with god..." In ta občutek je zagotovljeno prisoten.

More and more Eastern European bands are finding their way to the Western countries. Got to learn a lot from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland this past year. Slovenian bands however are pretty new too me, but did I hear of the great punkrock band Multiball that got a cd out some time ago. And it must be the water or the country or something. Entreat are equally as amazing. Brutal metalcore this time around, but of superb quality as they mix the more typical Heaven Shall Burn screams and breaks with old school (Swedish) metal melodies and terrific Paradise Lost like melancholy. How great can song like "Miss Norbet" become with it's great built up to a climax brought forth by a cello? Getting a My Dying Bride feeling here. The band can shred and show their emotions. The Italian recording / production of the cd made the package complete. Dive in!

European metalcore from Slovenia is what we got here, recorded in Italy and causing fair entertainment in my ears. Entreat are quite deep into the emo-metal thing, with loads of melodies on the guitars and many rather calmed down passages. The "emo"-thing in their music is furthermore created by some sung passages of their singer. All this is combined quite well, and while the info named Swedish metal as an influence, you can definitely find this in their music. I especially like the riffing on some of their songs, like in "few seconds in clearness", creating a rather melancholic atmosphere out of a rocking songstructure. The often enough happening sung passages, where their singer shows quite a respektable range of vocals, support this melancholic, but not too whiny or desperate atmosphere. The double base parts are well precise, and although I missed some real highlights on this, Entreat may be a good addition to the ever growing European metalcore scene, and you will probably hear more of them soon here and there.

This hardcore/metal band from Slovenia releases their second album called Deincubation. This album absolutely has an unique sound, that's already something they can stick in their asses! Boy I'm in a good mood today....

This seriously was the first thing crossed my mind listening this album, honest! Another thing which is quite remarkable is the difference in vocals, they play with it a little. That makes it really interesting and nice to listen.

What's nice writing lyrics is you can put all your fantasy in it, these palls sure used their fantasy (maybe also other stuff) while writing these lyrics.

Paying attention on the first two songs it was hard not to laugh. Hell it's brilliant!

Ride (desperado) keeps repeating a sentence, and every time I hear this, I am wondering in which state they were writing this song. To give you an idea I quote a few lines of this song. Tonight! I want to get that feeling. I want it tonight! Yeah, right! I want to get that feeling when it's almost like drinking with god. Well shoot me now. Guys, drinking a beer with some friends could also be fun.

The next song Non Plus Ultra is even better! In this one they don't even allow worms to make holes in peoples foreheads. That's very kind, I feel very safe now.

This makes me curious about the front of their album, is that actually someone who's removing worms of his forehead??? Strange...

I think I've said enough about the lyrics now, I couldn't do it better so what am I complaining about, they sure have got a great sense of humor!

Let's take a look at their music, that's what it's all about, right? I can't compare Entreat with other bands, they are way to original for that. The Wraith Of Who We Wish To Be is a very strong song. The song has a nice groove. Great guitar work and nice vocals. I like this song the most.

Although I was quite sarcastic writing this review (I'm sorry about that palls), this album is actually pretty good! I would almost give Entreat an award for being original!

Vreme je da se upoznamo i sa bendom Entreat koji nam dolazi iz Slovenije. Entreat, bend koji je oformljen 1997 I koji su nakon 7" single-a izdali debi album "Shaded" (2001) za kuću Choose Life Records. Sada, nakon nekoliko godina, mnogo više iskustava (što live, što studijski) izdaju drugi officijelni album "Deicubation". Album je sniman u Alpha Omega studiju a izdat ovoga puta za kuću Moonlee Records. Izdanje je dosta zrelije no prošlo, kao i varijabilnije. Zvuk koji možete očekivati okvirno rečeno jeste thrash core u stilu Švedskih izvođača ali osvežen emo prizvukom i mnogim neočekivanim melodijama koje su odlično ukombinovane u celu priču. Posebne pohvale na albumu zaslužuju pesme kao što je "Few Seconds in Clearness", koje unose dozirano osveženje kombinovanja core elemenata sa psihodelijom!!! Core metal zvuk i growl vokal protežu se kroz ceo album, više ili manje dominantnije zavisno od kompozicije do kompozicije i ukoliko ste fan bendova kao što su Soilwork, In Flames (prim.ur.: starija izdanja), sigurno će Vam se dopasti i Entreat. Booklet je vrlo kulturno urađen dok mi se celokupni utisak negde čak i poklapa sa bendom Tool. 80% odsvirane muzike nema nikakve veze sa muzikom Tool-a, ali ako bih morala na osnovu nekih već poznatih bendova da opisujem Entreat, to bi bila skala doživljaja In Flames – Tool. Među ovih Jedanest pesama postoji i instrumental "In Need of an End" ... "Among The hole we walk. / With unknown walls we talk. / Where did we miss? / What did we miss? / Tired we will fall asleep". Obavezno poslušajte.

Končno držim v rokah izdelek, ki ga je mnogo ljudi vpisovalo v sezname najbolj pričakovanih izdelkov. Entreat. spadajo v staro šolo slovenskega hardcora pa čeprav niso nikoli preigravali oldschoola. S prvencem Shaded so se zagotovo podpisali v srca mnogih, tudi v moje. Ravno zaradi dejstva, da obstajajo že precej dolgo in, da so eden izmed redkih še obstojajočih bendov stare goriške scene, smo vsi pričakovali tale izdelek toliko bolj nestrpno.

No v teh dolgih letih se je vse precej spremenilo. Na Shaded so preigravali že precej pokopani stil, ki se ga je prijelo ime emo-metal, sedaj pa lahko njihovo glasbo označim za čistokrvni izvleček gotenburške melodične death metal scene. Mogoče je na to vplivalo zamenjava parih članov v teh letih, najbrš pa so samo odrasli in dokazali, da so čisto resen band. Tega dejstva mnogo ljudi nekako ni moglo vzeti za res, naj samo omenim probleme, ki so jih imeli z iskanjem založbe za izdajo tegale ploščka, pa dejstva, da jih metalska publika še vedno ni vzela kaj preveč resno pa čeprav norijo za podobnimi bandi iz Švedske. Jebiga, mislim, da imajo Entreat. v hardcore sceni v Sloveniji prav posebno mesto in ga bodo vedno imeli pa, če bodo glasbeno še taki metalci.

Glede na to, da je evropska scena polna wannabe At The Gates klonov, mi je v slast končno poslušati nek band, ki se lahko postavi ob bok bandom kot so Dark Tranquillity, Soilwork in podobnim velikanom iz Švedske. Ta dva banda mislim, da sta tudi najbolj vplivala na glasbeno odraščanje Entreat. vendar moram dodati, da glede na zadnje izdaje, ki sta jih poslala na trg Dark Tranquillity & Soilwork, veliko veliko raje poslušam Deincubation. Mislim, da ne bom užalil fantov, če rečem, da niso odkrili nič novega.. tipi radi igrajo death metal in to delajo dobro in z veseljem. Že to je zadosti zame.

Stvar, ki je šla mnogim v nos, moram priznati da tudi sam nisem bil najbolj navdušen, je bil Patrikov vokal. Ne vem, včasih je na koncertih res zvenelo sve malo čudno ampak na CDju se ne morem pritoževati, mogoče sem se navadil na vse skupaj, ne vem. Meni je cool in me ne moti.

Plata je polna potencialnih metal hitov, ki jih folk posluša že par let na koncertih in so se že zarasli v naša srca, nekaj pa je tudi novih pesmi, ki jih z velikim veseljem odkrivam na novo. Komadi kot so npr. "Compressed Time and Space", "Words", Imperfect ID", "In An Need of an End" so totalno olje na ogenj! Najdejo pa se tudi kake počasnejše balade kot je npr. "Miss Norbet".Vse skupaj zapakirano v gladko zmes, ki jo absorbiram z velikim veseljem. Jebiga, zadnje čase se nisem kaj prida posvečal tej zvrsti, ampak, če gre zadeva tako lepo v uho kot tole, se nima smisla upirati. Zadeva je sproducirana super, vse pohvale bobnarju, ki se na CDju sliši res cool.

Ovitek je nastal izpod tovarne sanj po imenu Shaded Beauty za katero stoji Valter Cijan, ki je poskrbel za vizualije bendov kot so Curse of Instinct in This Memory Of You. Cover ni narejen slabo, dobra fotomanipulacija. Ko sem stvar prvič videl na računalniškem ekranu sem bil mnenja, da žensko telo, ki je nekako osrednji element naslovnice, premalo izstopa, vendar se mi zdi, da je to precej boljše vidno sedaj, ko držim CD v rokah. Na notranji strani najdemo seveda besedila, v beli barvi na sivkasto/zeleni podlagi, na vsaki strani pa pride tudi slika članov banda in ime. Precej cool.

V prihajajočem vikendu se bo v Novi Gorici zgodil release party za pričujoč izdelek in mislim, da se vsekakor splača biti tam. Dobra priložnost za nakup plošče in pa prva priložnost, da fante vidite v živo. Za moje pojme je plošča vredna nakupa vsaj toliko kolikor ga je bila vredna Shaded. Za vse stare in nove fane!

Pred novim letom sem slišal super novico, da bodo novogoriški melodični deathmetalci izdali nov album Deincubation. Ob tej novici se je na mojih ustih pojavil velik nasmešek, ki se je samo še povečal, ko sem slišal 2 komada Miss Norbet in Words. Vsak, ki je poslušal ta dva komada je vedel, da nam Entreat pripravljajo hudičevo dober izdelek. In, ker sem rahlo patriotski, vsaj kar se tiče podpiranja domače industrije, sem Deincubation takoj prednaročil.

Že po poslušanju dveh MP3jev, ki so jih Entreat radodarno objavili na svoji strani, sem ugotovil, da je stvar zelo dobro posneta. Če bi mi kdo dal samo CD, brez, da bi mi povedal, da gre za slovenski bend bi mislil, da gre za kak tuj izdelek. Ne vzeti to tako kot, da mislim so ostali slovenski albumi posneti zanič ali kar koli podobnega. Vendar sta zvok in sama kvaliteta zvoka na Deincubation skoraj perfektna. Predvsem pa nekaj najbolšega, kar nam ponuja glede te scene Slovenija. Vse se sliši fantastično, od hudega bobnanja, žaganja do petja. Po produkciji in izvedbi so Entreat boljši od precej bendov, ki za snemanje plošč porabijo gore denarja. Še več, rekel bi, da je to zame eden najbolših melodičnih deatmetalskih albumov, ki so izšli zadnjih nekaj let. S tem imam v mislih predvsem leti 2003 in 2004. Brez dvoma pa najbolši slovenski deathmetalski album. Prepletanje melodij, žaganja, menjavanje hitrosti, raznih prehodov, solaž, riffov, kruljenja in kričanja pevca je izvedeno tako fantastično. Med veliko hudimi komadi, bi težko izbral najbolšega. Najbolj mi grejo v ušesa Ride, Compressed Time and Space, Words, Miss Norbet. Omeniti moram še super In Need of An End, ki je posnet brez sicer meni zelo všečnega vokala. Ko smo že pri vokalu, včasih me clean vokal rahlo moti. Predvsem na prvih parih komadih. Zdi se mi, da se pojavi rahlo prevečkrat. In pa mogoče to, da se nekateri komadi nekako izgubijo. Na trenutke se zdi, da bi brez problema preživeli tudi brez njih. Je pa takih zelo malo. Večina pa zelo izstopajo po svoji kvaliteti. Vendar je to verjetno stvar okusa. Navsezadnje lahko skoraj vsakemu albumu očitamo, da ima nekaj kar bi mirno lahko preskočili. Moram pa omeniti, da je vsak komad nekaj posebnega, saj bi težko rekel, da se karkoli ponavlja. Kjub temu nam Entreat pričarajo super atmosfero, ki jo boste hoteli izskušati non stop.

CD dobimo v lični zeleni škatlici, z nekakšno uro na prvi strani in pa neko žensko. Zelena barva prevladuje tudi na celemu ovitku. Pojavlja se tudi nek znak, ki me spominja na klešče. Na vsaki strani se pojavi tudi eden izmed članov petčlanske zasedbe Entreat. Morda se komu besedila ne bodo zdela nič posebnega, vendar, ko se jim bolje posvetiš ugotoviš, da je tudi to narejeno dobro.. We don't even allow worms to make a hole into our forehead. Reject the axiom: dust to dust! Mogoče bo kdo pomislil, da so Entreat vzeli preizkušeno formulo in jo rahlo preoblikovali po svoje. To vsekakor ne drži. Gre za izdelek, ki se lahko mirno kosa s precej bolj znanimi izdelki bendov kot so Year of Our Lord, Black Dahlia Murder in podobnimi. Leto 2005 se je tako začelo s zares hudim, domačim izdelkom, na katerega ste lahko ponosni. Za konec lahko rečem le, Entreat še tako naprej, ostali pa kupite ta CD! Entreat si to vsekakor zaslužijo. Moonlee records so izdali kar nekaj hudih izdelkov, Deincubation pa pomojem mnenju sodi v sam vrh, njihove sicer pestre ponudbe. Along the hole we walk. With unknown walls we talk. Where did we miss? What did we miss? Tired we will fall asleep. Fantastično!
