LUNAR’s third full-length and first for the Moonlee family bears the title ‘Turbo’ because that is what it sounds like – an incessantly humming machine for the 21^st century. It certainly feels like an appropriate name for their mainly instrumental tracks built around dynamic and propulsive rhythms that are attentively interwoven with delicate guitarpassages. ‘Turbo’ is the sound of a naked human being covered with interstellar dust wandering through a dense nebula, or perhaps the soundtrack of the darkest solar eclipse possible. It is a safe journey through space and time followed by a soft landing on our home planet. It may also be something completely different, though, something which yet needs to be defined by the listener’s very own experience.
